Here is a heritage home which was constructed almost 150 years back situated in a typical village near Kozhikode town which has now opened its doors to international tourists, so that they could experience hands on the age old heritage. This is the ancestral home of Mr. Chandrasekharan whom his friends and relatives affectionately address as Unniettan. Unniettan and his wife Parimalam are very keen to preserve the heritage and showcase it to the world. This home cosists of three blocks of which two blocks, are double storied, consisting of bedroom plus an attic, the third block accommodates the kitchen and the service area. The constructions are based on traditional Kerala architecture. At present, five rooms are available for guest accommodation, including an air conditioned room. Some areas in this home have been modified to provide extra bathrooms/toilets.
